FLIP Fabrique and Ex Machina are causing quite a commotion in the professional wrestling world, each bringing their own expertise into the ring.
With a decisive match between theatrical titans and circus players, Robert Lepage sets up the scene and script.
SLAM! A stunning show with a smashing title. SLAM! An onomatopoeia but also a powerful wrestling move where the opponent is thrown to the ground. In the professional wrestling world, a slam is showcased through different forms, allowing artistic exploration. Wrestling scripts and rules are deconstructed then rebuilt, rewritten again to see the genre examined.
In this mega theatrical show, acrobats embody an array of characters in and around the ring as they explore their circus abilities.

SLAM! A professional wrestling show where body bends and theatrical twists meet the mat.

Premiere: 5 March 2024, Le Diamant, Quebec City (Qc, CA).
