Choreography for the Ballet of the National Opera of Paris.
With Grand miroir, his third creation for the Paris Opera, Saburo Teshigawara continues to pursue his concept of an open work, guided by his ever-vigilant creativity.
Choosing Esa-Pekka Salonen's Concerto for Violin and Charles Baudelaire's poem La musique, he works alchemist-like moving beyond artistic categories to explore the relationship between substance and movement: in this case, an examination of the secret affinities between the textures of sound, poetic images and the body's organic rhythm.
