Kazahana - "Wind Flower" in Japanese.
"Kazahana" means flakes of snow drifting with the wind in a clear blue sky. Saburo Teshigawara focuses on the radical sense of time and beauty in danced, unfolding in a mesmerizing stage set. An abstract formality of the ultimate strength and transience of beauty, the body itself becomes the metaphor leading us beyond into a pure dance. A piece in which one can see the highest quality of Teshigawaras choreographic work.
